Welcome to Cricket247.org, a site dedicated to providing a discussion forum for cricket lovers around the world.

The site started in 2005 as an off-shoot of the BBC Test Match Special site, which was only open during certain hours of the day. When a day's play in a Test Match came to a close, it was frustrating to have to wait until the next morning to chat about the match, and hence cricket247 was born. We haven't looked back since, and the forum has gone from strength to strength.

The emphasis on this site is friendliness. It doesn't matter which country a poster is from, as long as they love cricket. In fact, loving cricket might be the only thing all of our posters agree on!
