for me hes provided great entertainment over the years - always interesting to watch and a great trier who always seemed to enjoy what he was doing - he also played with a smile on his face, whilst remaining a fierce competitor even though I cant remember an opponent or teammate ever saying a bad word about him.

Shame you can't accept what he has achieved, at least he played and the left the game with a smile, for what he faced during his career he had a tremendous amount of mental strength and self belief and carried his business about in a respectful manner.

I wouldn't worry about it. His achievements will long outlast the blind critics. Many greats had their controversies, which are rarely spoken of when looking at the records.

Beefy, you and I have disagreed on many things in the past. I clearly stated that I would, of course, be biased towards Warney. I actually think he was a better bowler. But that is my opinion and I am allowed to have it. Now I think Murali is also the best offie I have ever seen. And more than that he was totally gracious throughout his whole career. I watched a way more of Warne and I think he is the best player I have seen. That's all.

Not necessarily. I also think Warne was better and I despise him and very much dislike Aus. I think Murali is a great guy. It's got nothing to do with loyalties.
