Hah, someone's already updated his Wiki page after this momentous event.

I was trying to find out whether he's a natural opener, and therefore fit straight into maty's theoretical team on the previous page. Seems to prefer four in his domestic team at the moment

Hinds should be a pretty solid signing.

Indeed, good work. Would have been useful down at Sussex for a year with Monty retiring

I think you are being a tad greedy asking for an all-rounder when you have Clarke, Wagg and Clare. You need an opener more. Hinds is #3, Sadler is #5.

Rikki Clarke is not at all attractive. I wouldn't be surprised if he were the sort of bloke who tried to pull birds solely on the basis of the fact that he was an international cricket. I'm struggling to think of a less attractive man who has played for England in recent times!

A certain Lancashire fast bowler?

Tough call that one. Assuming you are meaning the one who has gone from World Cup player to zero? The winner would have to be the one who had the better personality. Don't know enough about either to speculate as to who that might be.

Jimmy Anderson is apparently quite boring.

Well it's only the Sun but it looks like it is going to happen with Jayawardene. Very exciting.

Jayawardene confirmed April till August.

You would say that Derby were building an attractive side, if it wasnt for....

Oh go on. You secretly fancy Rikki too don't you?

Oh and MM, if you looked like Rikki Clarke, what other basis would you be able to try to pull birds on than that you were an international cricketer? He's not exactly got a devastating line in wit either.

I still can't look at him without thinking of Plug from the Bash Street Kids.

I'm still in shock. I seriously never expected to see Mahela playing at Derby.

Have got to give credit to the club after what's gone on behind the scenes so far.

Looks like Rikki isn't thinking of staying long and hopes to be back with England.

Did they have to print his picture? That will nauseate me for the rest of the day.
