Ashes Thread

So we're already underway in the Ashes, surprised its not been commented on already although the board has been a bit quiet off late.

Tough defeat in the first game for England and they're going to have to bat well to chase down a daunting total in the second. Some big hitting from the Aussie captain Haynes has seen them reach 296/6 after being put in.

I thought it didn't start until December.

Is it a Lions tour?

Pretty pathetic effort so far. Winning toss and bowling in those conditions was bordering on the suicidal. Fielded woefully too.

Let's hope the men start a bit better than their female counterparts.

This seems to be going as well as I expect the men's tour to go.
