Was that Matt Smith who used to be Dr Who? Or the other Matt Smith we’ve never heard of.

Wasn't him I don't think, wasn't he wearing a suit? One of the commentators.

Just on Matt Smith - what is the point of paying him a salary? He is a spare part. Ali Mitchell would do a much better job as anchor.

He does seem a bit pointless. I thought Greg James was meant to do it. Maybe Smith is on a full-time contract with BT or something otherwise seems a bit of a waste of money.

His Australian accent is incredibly annoying. I have started listening to TMS.

Is he not on there as well? If so I think I might do that too as I generally doze through the day's play anyway. The rest of the BT team has actually been decent and a nice change from Botham, Warne, Holding and Ward.

Hasn't been so far this series as far as I know. Might be coming in though, as I think I heard that Tuffers is going home.

I don't think he is for this tour. I don't agree about the rest of the BT team - I think Vaughan, Pietersen and Fleming have been poor too. Fleming's "avenue of apprehension" is getting pretty tedious.

I have actually found Boycott to be one of the stronger commentators on the BT Team - which is a fairly strong indictment on the others!!

He's your Bill Lawry. Senile, barely comprehensible, yet still a cut above the rest.

I don't think I've come across Engel's work until recently but it's twice he's created articles to bash Boycott that I've read. There's nothing more boring than a journalist with an axe to grind.

For what it's worth (not a lot) I read this week that Ms Connor and Andy Flower are in a relationship. Quite a piece of power sharing.

Geoff should only talk about cricket and BT and TMS are doing a National Service by keeping him occupied.

Unfortunately KP appears to be becoming baby Boycott from a commentary point of view.

Boycott's good, says things that need to be said, though I can understand why he doesn't go down well in the home counties. Really he was just stating the obvious, that in Test cricket you have to build an innings. Seemed to be beyond our batsmen.
