I read that the same intensity isn't being shown by our bowlers. Can someone verify?

The lowest number of 50s by openers in a 5 match series is 3. There have been none so far in this. Useless stat I know, but wouldn't it be great if Cook and Jennings were still there at lunch? England get a shedload of runs and give Rashid and Mo something to bowl at.

Thank goodness for the mute button on the remote.
Lloyd is even less amusing than Trump and is well past his sell-by date..

Kohli, bless his cotton socks, is a useless tosser.
A day to fill boots, I reckon.

Possibly but this seems to be the most batsmen friendly surface of the series (despite the green tinge). Bumrah bowled quite well but Ishant was a bit disappointing.

Soft dismissal for Jennings seemingly out of nowhere. Yet another sharp catch for KL Rahul.

Yes, I believe Jennings has also just announced his retirement from Test cricket.

Thanks for that, Psy. I hope there is some reverse later on which Shami will hopefully utilise. I am currently looking at an England score around 500 or so.

They are lacking the intensity. All a few mph slower aren’t they? This is why I felt a debut from n dead game would be pointless. Fully expecting Rashid to get wickets.

Is it? I was hoping they'll push hard to try and win this test and make the scoreline 2-3. It'd be a pity to return with a 1-4 or even 1-3.

Good old Cooky. Back to form and going out with a bang. Double ton and he may change his mind?

Regardless of whether any of us think Cook hung around too long or was a sub par captain, surely we can only enjoy it to the full if he gets a big score.

Jennings must be laughing his head off.

He'll know that no matter how badly he plays in this test he'll still be in the next one as it would be a risk to choose two different openers from this test.
