Johnny Will Set New Test Record

English Dynamic wicket-keeper johnny Bairstow close to the wicket keeping record in 3 test match series.Ian Healy took 19 catches in 3 test match series in 1995/96 vs srilanka

JB now has 16 in 2 test, 4 more catches will be piece of cake for him.yesterday his century [ 107 not out ] is @ bonus besides world record waiting for him.

Johnnys first class average in 2016 is 87.27
wow.

If it wasn't for Kamran Akmal, he might challenge the most dropped catches by a keeper in a series at some point too.

I think he's on 19 at the moment, should be more than enough play today to snaffle enough catches - surely?

Are you sure about this record? According to howstat.com.au SAR Silva took 21 catches in 1985/86 vs India, Bairstow is already (second) on their list and Healy in that series mentioned only took 17................

And for dismissals Silva executed one stumping so that record is 22, so if Bairstow takes 3 catches he equals that record and breaks the 1-3 Test series record of catches, 4 catches and he breaks both.

Oh I see where the Healy stat came from, he has 19 dismissals to his name in that series so 17 catches and 2 stumpings. Please check your stats, or a mod, and correct them if (as looks like possible/probable) necessary.
