West Indies v Bangladesh

Roach and co demolish the Tigers for 43 in the first test. They lasted 18.4 overs, so at least one ball more than the Aussies in 2015.

After taking a small step forward recently Bangladesh seem to have take two large steps back. West Indies have suddenly got a potent pace attack together which is encouraging.

I thought it was a T20 when I saw the score.

I did the scoring for a Girl's Match on Saturday which also finished 43 all out, although they made quite a recovery from 19-8!!

And once again, an opportunity to break Bannerman's record goes begging with Das scoring 58% of the team's total.

desh-troyed by a Roach. Deshis usually rely on one of Tamim, Shakib or Mushfiqur to score big and they managed 5 between them.

None of their current Test players who have taken 20+ wickets in Tests average under 30 with the ball, Mustafizur and Shakib a smidge over 30, and of their current batsmen to score 1000+ runs, Mominul (45.85), Mushfiqur (34.63), Nasir Hossein (34.80), Shakib (39.93) and Tamim (38.36) do average over 33 but only Monminul, Tami and Shakib in the high 30s or even 40s.

Just very surprising windies were the ones to knock them over although Roach does average under 30 even before his efforts here

Blimey, 62-6 in the second innings and the Windies didn't even have Roach available to bowl. So 105-16 overall after the Windies knocked up 400.

Pathetic. Shame to see such an uncompetitive match after quite a good series between WI and SL beforehand.
