YorkedCricket - A New Cricket Blog

Hi fellow cricket enthusiasts!

I wasn't sure where to comment, but as an avid cricket fan, I have recently began writing a new blog called Yorked.

It can be found at - https://yorkedcricket.wordpress.com/

I would be grateful if you would take the time to have a look at the blog and give me your thoughts and suggestions. I aim to continue the blog with further previews and reviews of series, as well as discussing some of the hot topics of cricket and looking back at previous series and players.

I'm really new to blogging, so if you have any suggestions and comments on my current blogs, please do let me know!

I have currently posted a review of the Champions Trophy team by team as well as previews to forthcoming series between England and South Africa and the West Indies and India.

Thank you everyone - I hope you enjoy reading

So put your blog on here then and don't ask us to leave this site and go to some strange site. We talk about other things than cricket and there is a "lounge" section. Primarily this site is about cricket but hey, tell us about yourself. Can you bat, bowl, field, play the ukulele? Introduce yourself. I'm old and boring, but as long you don't post anything racist (Americans, French and the Welsh may be permitted ), sexist or abusive, it's fine. Above all we like to talk cricket. Many of us disagree. Few of us will go to some different site in order to talk to you. Welcome with your first post and tell us a bit about yourself.

Looks as if you may have scared him/her off, Charlie, but I would tend to agree that just putting up a link to an external blog without engaging the audience seems a bit like spamming,

Back in my blogging days I admit I did a bit of spamming early on until I found out what ways of communicating worked best, which generally wasn't spamming.

spammers come spanners tend to stick a thread in several subforums before scooting off, those advertising blogs etc are probably just busy posting their links on lots of different sites.
