OK

He is very friendly with Martin Crowe

Perhaps Nicholas' grasping hands are what caused Crowe to go to Advanced Hair Studios

I had to laugh at Willis the other day. He was talking about tailenders and called them 'these rats and mice'. I have heard of them being called rabbits and ferrets but not rats and mice.

Aamir Sohail really gets on my nerves, doesnt have any respect for lesser teams, makes useless comments, always keeps talking about or referring to pakistani cricket.

The other day he thought Shaun tait was doing something dodgy as he said he was reverse swinging the ball in the 11th over.

Brickbats

'Irish bloke'
Raja
Arlo
Cullinan
Nicholas (or they may have been bouquets - hard to gauge the feeling).

Flem?

Is someone taking the ****?
If your idea of a good commentator is one who can't manage a sentence without using 'Spuurb' and 'Straya' then fine, but really he's about as informative as the back of a bottle of ketchup.

I'm just the messenger, sport; maybe they enjoy the alliteration. He may have even drawn inspiration from the back of a sauce bottle; mine contains the alliterative phrase 'specially selected spices'.

"Ranjit Fernando has just come up with another howler on TV, his 532nd of the competition, claiming Sri Lanka won the World Cup in 1996 on Duckworth-Lewis. Even Botham sounded as if he had had enough ..."

is this actually serious?!
