Would you not count Sri Lanka vs Pakistan in the UAE?

I guess so. I couldn't recall when that was to be honest. That said they've had some shocking results such as getting clean swept at home by India and then losing so heavily in South Africa on their last tour there around 18 months back (I know the tables were turned earlier this year). Doesn't go much against the trend.

I fully expect SL to stuff England in the test series.

Abbas gained 104 points

Cricbuzz
Abbas broke the 800-point mark in just his 10th Test. Tom Richardson, Charlie Turner and JJ Ferris are the only three bowlers who reached the 800--point mark in fewer Tests. Abbas is also the 10th bowler in the history of Pakistan cricket to cross the 800-point mark.
