Ian Salisbury joins messrs Thorpe and Stewart on the Surrey "90s old boys" coaching staff for next year.

Who's next? Hollioake, Bicknell, Giddins and Ward to join in the next few weeks?

He's been so unlucky with injuries hasn't he? I'm surprised he hasn't jacked it in yet

How do you think Surrey will do this year, Sharkey?

Looks to be a pretty interesting Surrey team playing in their game v Bradford/Leeds UCCE, full of youngsters.

This close to the start of the season I thought they'd be playing pretty much a full strength team, but their team seems packed full of kids, although I see Ricky Anderson is playing

Any ideas how they are likely to line up this year?

It would be interesting to see them with a youth movement in division 2.

Something like

Newman
Brown
Ramprakash
Afzaal
Batty
Spriegel/Murtagh
Elliot
Jordan
Nel
King/Meaker
Dernbach

Not sure if Murtaza Hussein or Pedro Collins are still at the club.

Cheers Rey, although that is the type of line-up that makes me glad I'm not a Surrey fan (Nel should be good though).

Looks like Surrey have picked up Ricky Anderson - ex. Essex and Northants - from the scrapheap. At this rate I wouldn't bet against Bicknell and Salisbury being registered to play.

It's a good thing Collins is still there, or Surrey wouldn't have restricted Gloucestershire to 115-9....

But the batting of Surrey is abysmal!

So Surrey looking to Davies.

Why? Wouldn't be happy if I was Gary Wilson.

Maybe JB is thinking of calling it a day.

Wilson had a good T20 World Cup, but he hasn't impressed at all at Surrey. Not surprised they're looking for someone else

Surrey looking at getting Lara in for their T20 season. As a commercial decision will this make more money than it costs? Can't see a cricketing reason for it.
