Just came home and turned TV on to one of the channels listed above. Just in time to see Lahore lose 3 wkts in 3 balls - hat trick shared by two bowlers, 2 for Jordan. 59 ao. 2nd lowest t20 total in the game's history.

Have only just looked at the full scorecard. McCullum (captain) and Roy opened the batting; I watched a few BBL matches and there were a few where teams had lost 4 or 5 wkts for not many, and a score like this one looked possible, but in nearly every case the team managed to get to 120 or even 140 in the 20 overs.

The way the screen is laid out, it's difficult or impossible to see the bowler's figures but from the box that obscures them I can tell you the current temperature in most of the UK's major cities.

Yeah but the wicket stuck a bit, one of the commentators said it was a bit damp out there.

On top of that, what an almost come back by Lahore. Mac daddy was great as captain again and Shah (fortunate) but still, his figures almost won them the game.

I'm already enjoying this tourney.

Indeed. Peshawar seemed to be making very heavy weather of the chase but the pitch played a big part. Good effort from Lahore to keep themselves in the game for 17 overs.

I think the PSL has more bowling friendly pitches and a good score is 150/160 not 190/200.

190/9 136/9 118/7 158/7 159/8 59 148/6
every team wants to win the toss bowl first
So far it's been 6 matches in Dubai and this is the first in Sharjah.

Morgan - 6 games 136 runs at 27.20 HS 80* s/r 103.81
Pietersen - 6 games 91 runs at 22.75 HS 88* s/r 178.43
Bopara - 6 games 86 runs at 14.33 HS 33 s/r 101.17/ 0 wickets econ 8.16
Billings - 5 games 133 runs at 44.33 HS 78* s/r 135.71
Roy - 5 games 173 runs at 43.25 HS 60* s/r 151.75
Malan - 3 games 66 runs at 22.00 HS 43 s/r 114.52
Jordan - 3 games 16 runs s/r 160.00/4 wickets at 14.75 econ 7.37
Mills - 3 games - 3 wickets at 26.66 econ 6.66
Duckett - 1 game 14 runs at 14.00 HS 14 s/r 66.66

Mills - 2 games - 3 wickets at 17.33 econ 6.50
The pitches have seemed to "stick" a bit, with bowlers who can vary pace doing well but other than that, they have been typically asian pitches in the sense that if you get in, you can go big.

The difference between this and other T20 leagues is that it's difficult to get in because the quality of bowleing is so good, added in with the sticky pitches of course.

160 would be a very good PSL score. In the other leagues I think 150 was par and 160+ very good. The IPL had quite a few scores of 170+ last season. The BBL slightly less. Just going off memory for those two. As for the Caribbean, I've never watched it.

Assuming Bops got them really close, got out and then they lost...

Unfortunately his 5 from 9 balls was not quite enough.

Fakhar Zaman is probably the find of the tourney. He may be my favourite batsman to watch alongside roy here.

I have to admit that I've not watched a ball of this tournament although I do have access to it, but your wish is my command.

So the idea is that the above named players would travel to Pakistan for one match having not participated in the rest of the tournament? That is absolutely ridiculous.

Mills gets a game today. Only his 3rd of the tournament. Worth 1.4m, can't leave him on the bench any more thinks Quetta.

That's a mimimum of 3,431 per ball (20,586 per over) to bowl in IPL.

Nervous start 1-0-10-0...
