I didn't see the match MM, but I'm pretty certain he hasn't, certainly his profile on the Yorkshire site says he hasn't.

G**gh capped Gillespie, Khan & Rudolph at the start of the season.

p.s. I made the mistake of going to the game yesterday. Yorks simply haven't got a clue of howto play 1 day games

Didn't know that.

I'm a bit depressed Dpressed about the FP trophy.

Why, we've been bad (clean version) at one day cricket for years so it's just business as usual.

We've been dreadful for years. It was going to be the one plus point of having Dazzler back... A shot at a one day compo this year on the back of his infectious enthusiasm (and lighting his own farts, thanks Biglads) and no need for any tactical nous. It hasn't quite worked out that way, with our new-style, old-style openers scoring at a run a century. Or a century or two for Sayers.

He certainly was Aidan, his strike rate was 46.12 yesterday, well above his overall strike rate of 39.37. Must have had bees in his pants.

Gough's broke his hand, fielding off his own bowling, out for three weeks. Thought he would be out with injury at some point, but more to do with wear and tear than that. Means we're in trouble for the Sussex game (not to mention bwoling Kent out in this one), and for Twenty20 too.

BBC say he will be out for up to 5 weeks.

How has he been bowling this season?

Ah, I'd heard three weeks. That could be a lot, lot worse.

He's almost his old self, bowling-wise. Was a bit wayward when I saw him at the Rose Bowl, and has had to be little careful with the length of his spells - but he'll leave a rather big hole. More re: his bowling than his captaincy, actually. Might be a good time to bring Lawson in

For the way he's played in the 1 dayers I'd give Pyrah a chance
