![]() You got the right answer there Jack. When you mentioned the words english teacher and Worcester I thought maybe eihther you or he might be tb. Sorry for having doubted you. BTW, I'm disappointed in Warley and MPT caving in early, I'm not paying up untill 28 March. Why let Povey have the money any longer than he needs to? Jacob Oram to replace Sangakkara in June. With his finger injury requiring a post WC operation, wonder if he will follow Bond and Vettori in our NZ hall of pain?. This makes it pretty clear that 20:20 is the focus.

Morning Campers
![]() Rejoice ![]() Tickets for both Natwest One Day international matches at Edgbaston are now completely sold out. In order to meet the ever rising demand for tickets, Warwickshire CCC are hoping to gain planning permission to erect a temporary stand which will accommodate a further 800 spectators. This stand was put in place for the One Day International against Pakistan last September and was a great success. I wounder when the T20 finals day tickets will go on sale...... want to be there to see us lift the cup ![]() By the way Kim - Quick reply (or edit) doesn't give you smileys on this site - so 'post repsonse' is the way forward ! |

"There are times, particularly when I'm bowling, when it can be difficult to think about all the different things you have to do," Streak said."
So that explains one or two things about last season ![]() ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile Greatbatch has set his sights on Warwickshire being "one of the top two sides in the country" in the coming season. Responding to a question at a members' forum as to how he would judge the team's success in 2007, Greatbatch replied: "We're a stronger, more organised squad this year. The game is about winning and about winning consistently and I would hope and expect that we are one of the top two sides in the country this season." "We've invested heavily in the squad and in the support systems," chief executive Colin Povey agreed. "So let's no be under any illusions: with the club and the support we have, we should be competing for trophies." ----------------------------------------------------------------------- which now gives us a truer benchmark of success or failure at the end of the season. Criteria by which management can be judged by - indeed their own criteria....... and supports my thoughts of two trophies at 20 and 40 over cricket where much of our investment has wisely gone ![]() Its going to be a great season - especially the last half ![]() |

I remain, sadly, bereft of any optimism at all.

The optomisim comes from ...
1. Waiting for mid june to come for our season to kick in ![]() 2. If that doesn't happen, then by our Coaches own criteria he must resign along with others ![]() So be optomistic Kim - Its win - win ![]() Besides afer last season and this winter with the hammers - something has got to go right ..... sooner or later ![]() The Bears are off for a working holiday too..... that JB increase has certainly helped ....... Don't even think about using that name when he is around; he went into the crowd to beat someone up a few years ago when someone reffered to him as potato head. ![]() |
