We don't know that she's a model or a celebrity though.

A google image search for '"ian bell" chantal' provides us with further evidence:

From an interview last year:
Quote:
It may not be coincidence that he is playing his best cricket now that he has recently forged a new life away from the family home. He recently got engaged to Lucy, his girlfriend of two years, and moved into a new apartment in the centre of Birmingham. “We haven’t set an exact date [for the wedding] because there’s so much cricket coming up,” he says. “We’re looking at September 2008. There seems to be a bit of a gap then.”
It may not be coincidence that he is playing his best one-day cricket now that he is forging a new life away from the apartment in the centre of Birmingham.

When he's ready for the captaincy, he may feel another change coming on...

Time we got back to cricket, perhaps, before this board turns into Heat magazine.

Can't say that Bell shows the same discretion in which ones to leave as he shows in front of the stumps, they both look like right slappers.

Well you hardly expected any of them to be married to women with double firsts from Oxbridge and successful careers in the city now did you?

I think the older school wives are in a different category to their modern counterparts. However I'd happily be proved wrong!

Ighols must meet lots of women with double first potential at Cambridge. Anyway, who said you can't have beauty and brains?

Indeed Rachel Weisz and Thandie Newton are both Cambridge graduates whilst Rosamund Pike went to Oxford.

I know you can have beauty and brains, although given a decent amount of beauty, brains becomes far more important in my book. That said, they don't have to be Oxbridge. You get plenty of industrious dullards at the top two, and loads of really exciting people elsewhere, including those who don't even go to uni.

Most WAG-type women don't interest me.

We could be doing the WAGs a disservice though. Rachael Flintoff seems bright and competent. KP's fiancée carved out a career before she met him, who knows what these other WAGs are like when the cameras aren't on them? If you're a high profile sports star you're going to attract good looking girls, it doesn't mean they have to be dim or shallow.

The cricket WAGs look a class above the football ones. I suppose the golf ones are even more different.
