Two of which were not outs.

Was very excited about the return of the ducks (and a little gutted that I couldn't update Stokes and Bairstow's record as I was too busy watching them in Cape Town) but now the duck has gone missing!

You can probably cross Taylor off

Cook is the England captain, he's got nearly 10,000 runs, his place is never in doubt, but he's gone 12 innings without a century. How come there are no pitchforks for him? After all you had them threatening Compton after 11 innings - 11 innings that took place over a long period during which he had been dropped.

Also, Hales has played 10 innings.

I think you may be searching for patterns where there are none.

It's certainly true there are no patterns! But there ought to be.

Also searching for accuracy.

Harsh to have Woakes in there as someone who often only bats at 8 most of the time.

Woakes is worth his place right now even if he was only good enough to bat at 11.

Indeed, but he's good enough with the bat to score test hundreds.
