Lunch, Day 2. England Lions 461/6

Adam Lyth 55
Jimmy Adams 5
Ravi Bopara 45
James Hildreth 149
James Taylor 96
Craig Keiswetter 73*
Ben Stokes 19
James Harris 4*

There was a rain break but I'm not sure how many overs were lost.

England Lions declare at 552/6. Kieswetter 116* & Harris 52*

Leewards need 402 to avoid the follow on. England attack consists of Harris, Dernbach, Buck & Briggs. Bopara & Stokes other options.

Leewards are 124-2. Dernbach got the first wicket early on, wicket-taker hasn't been mentioned for the second.

Well Leewards are 148/2 at the end of Day 2!

The quality of the line is poor, and the commentators are very enthusiastic

28-2, another wicket for Dernbach

Very good workout for the whole Lions team. Piling up runs and putting pressure on the opposition. What the (real) England team do, basically.

Leewards all out for 127. England Lions win by an innings and 119 runs.

England Lions pick up 12 full points. Leewards 0.

Very good win for the Lions considering the players they are missing. Finn, Woakes, Plunkett and Rashid will strengthen the squad further. Hildreth appears to be leading the race to replace Collingwood at this stage, but its early days.

Is there a reason why the BBC website has decided to act as if these games don't exist?

How well will the Lions do in the World cup? After all they are about the only England players left standing.

Is there anyone to replace Bopara for the Lions, or will they have to call somebody else in? It would be good to see Buttler or Hales get a go.

Hales isn't a bad shout although Andrew Gale didn't play in the first game and he will probably slot in at number 3.

Ah, if they've got Gale, I presume they won't be calling anyone else in. I doubt they'd be able to anyway.
