Hope you manage to work it out then. Could take a while, I suppose.

Didn't know I was on "block", whatever that is. Wonder what you're on. I'd take more water with it if I were you.

Click on the user name and you'll see a link to "Add [xxx] to your Ignore List" on the row under their avatar. I highly recommend you do it, it makes this board a lot more palatable with the amount of persistent WUMs on at the moment. It doesn't completely block them, you can still see them on the recent posts and in peoples' replies to them, but it's enough to make them only slightly intrusive - like ad breaks or mosquitoes.

It sounds a very useful facility.

If I were annoyed by the expression of opinions I disagreed with or constantly losing arguments, or simply against free expression, I'd probably use it myself.

It is confirmed. The Overton twins from Devon are both in the England squad. What a proud day for their family!

Well done and good luck to them. I've heard much but seen little of them.

The players I would compare to as bowlers are

Craig - broad
Jamie - a young Harmy but possibly a touch quicker.

15 games 10 wickets at 54.20 econ 5.06 s/r 64.2 - Craig
14 games 20 wickets at 27.00 econ 6.27 s/r 25.8 - Jamie

Well they are the right age group though I doubt if they will play. I would have picked Gregory though on last year's stats.

I'd expect them to miss the next game - but could both play if the last match is a dead rubber.

I think as Wood and Willey are playing in their first few games they would want to see more of them than the Overtons, even if it was a dead rubber.

I'm just quoting you so all the people who've blocked you can see what you're up to.

Not saying I'm not excited by the Overtons and suppose this won't do them any harm but thought development of such raw players was generally through the county game and the Lions rather than hanging around a squad unlikely to play.

Good to see Topley in the T20 squad.

We're now getting close to the squad I'd have picked a year ago.

No Bopara though. His days with England look to be over.

We can but hope!

Is Topley getting quicker? Last time I saw him he was slower than Gurney and Willey.

Yes, in that he's working his way back to fitness.

But he's not express.

So does this mean no championship cricket before the Ashes for Anderson and Broad?
