Hales isn't a number three or four in this team, that's Root and Morgan.

The suggestion on commentary is that Stokes comes back in at five too. Not sure how you justify that one, Taylor has done far more with the bat than Stokes thus far.

Yet plenty seem to be advocating him to open in Tests.

Back to 4 bowlers plus Ali, wonder if England will put enough runs on the board.

Good recovery by Taylor and Morgan, but now Buttler has quickly followed Morgan back to the hutch it might be a big ask to try and post 260+ from here.

Lucky lad, Taylor.

Seemed too good a shout to not ask for the review within the time allowed.

Crucial runs required from the crucial no 8 crucial batting spot.

Indeed. Some pivotality (pivotalness?) needed here.

Hopefully, Woakes can give Rashid some support here.

At times like these I wonder what a batsman who started collapse feels. I don't blame Morgan because he was playing his game. But for Taylor to run out England's fastest sprinter by such a long way when it was not even a direct hit is staggering.

Yeah I hope so. Adil never plays stupid shots to throw away his wicket.

Each way payout at the moment obviously Willey could change that.

Rashid not spotting the slower delivery, it would seem. Just one of a number of poor shots we have seen today. Second highest partnership with Woakes, though.

Willey seems in a little discomfort at the moment. I think we need to try to bat out the overs now.

I will...I am sure they will take my views on board, swiftly followed by being told to go forth and multiply
