Big sample too. You definitely have a point there. More so than usual, anyway.

Rashid rather unlucky there, just now. Complete misread of the wrong 'un.

Is bairstow batting for them?

Tredwell may have been a better spin option.

Rashid reminds me of Steve Smith (with the ball): capable of bowling the odd good delivery but he just serves up way too much filth in between.

Don't think so. Botham, with rare insight, said the only way we can win this is to take wickets. So far, Rashid has looked far more likely to do that than Ali and I doubt Tredwell would have offered much in that department either.

If Pakistan were chasing a much bigger total, then fair enough, I suppose.

Rashid's great balls are fantastic - and far better than anything Ali serves up.

But Moeen bowls less filth - but his stock ball is so innocuous he can get some tap anyway.

I suppose his "darts" may help delay defeat by an over or two.

That's Moeen rather than TT. His trolling has never been fine.

Hafeez is playing with panache, style and confidence. Looks easy.

Like Hales I think his England days are numbered unless he does something good quickly.

You mean he is England's Ishant Sharma?

Hafeez in 90s, probably the best time to get him out once he is past his 20s?
