One of the all time catches.

@BumbleCricket
???

@KP24
SKY’s commentators now cashing in on the @IPL.
The same ones that played a major part in ending my England career.
Hilarious how the IPL isn’t viewed as a tournament for mercenaries who only care about cash...!

Hales is even worse value. Despite their batting not scoring quickly enough the Hyderabad coaching staff don't see him worthy of a place.

Stokes RPS - 10 games 283 runs at 31.44 HS103* s/r 144.38/10 wickets at 27.50 econ 7.43

He was named the MVP in 2017.
He could bowl before he went to the IPL last year but now he can't. Must be his new action.

Not only that he was bowling at 150kph without seeming to exert himself. Change the qualification rules back FFS!!!

There is also the issue that he is a British passport holder in the first place as one of his parents is British, so Barbadian or not by birth, he has always had access to British nationality.

I won't mention Windrush as a reason why he might wish to play for the Windies.......................

Spectacular collapse from Mumbai Indians v Hyderabad chasing only 119. They are highly unlikely to even get close.

Just the 8 sixes in an innings of 68 from AB today. As his body ages and creaks, is he seeing the benefits of Chris Gayle's batting philosophy, ie the further you hit it the less you have to run?

Still too much of a plf’er despite his insane talent.

Ended up on the losing side too. Can't say I think much of Kohli's captaincy in the IPL, he seems to really disrupt his own bowlers.

I see this record breaking match has made it onto the BBC sports front page.

I don't rate Kohli as a captain anyway so can't say that's a new phenomena.

CSK/MI
22 required from 12 balls.

Bravo has 1 over 3-0-21-1
Thakur has 1 over 3-0-21-1
Tahir has 2 overs 2-0-21-0

I always feel the 19th over has to be your best death bowler, in this case, Bravo. Dhoni went for Thakur who went for 19 runs and then Tahir. Bravo would have gone for 7 or 8 leaving leaving Thakur 14 or 15 to defend.
Tahir is south africa though. I can only recall Azhar Mahmood playing IPL from Pakistan.

Pakistan players played in the first IPL in 2008 and haven't been allowed to since. Azhar Mahmood played as a British player as he has a British passport due to an English wife.
