Leach plays as Moeen is finally dropped.

End of an error.

With Stokes unable to bowl and batting at 5 that leaves England with a very long tail, especially with no Woakes as well. Shades of 1999.

Ali hasnít scored a run all winter - a fallacy to say his being dropped weakens the tail.

Vince plays as does wood. Let's see if wood is 90mph.

Feel a bit sorry for craig (top scorer in first innings) and woakes (50 second) to miss out to vince. Is he likely to score more? Doubt it but surely he is due one.

Clearly on the wind up. Moeen vs leach is no contest with bat.

Team looks much better - a specialist spinner and a fast bowler.

Batsmen have to score runs - forget about the bowlers bailing them out -!or not in Moeens case.

Not if the one day series is anything to go by, itís a myth. And as third seamer, too, heíll probably break down again.

Allowing Vince the opportunity to establish himself as a world class all rounder.

Stoneman looking like a club hack of left hander- takes one to know one.

Edit:but it is Cook with cement feet who is bowled all ends up. That was a decent ball but utterly horrible batsmanship.

Cook will wonder what he did wrong, apparently. How about didn’t play forward to a very full ball? He never does. He doesn’t do the job of an opener and hasn’t done for a very long time.

This is hilarious. Decent nut from Boult but what on earth is Cook doing behind his crease!? FFS.

Do you really think that the side looks better for replacing a batsman who averages 28 (woakes) with one averaging 22 will strengthen the batting. Indeed will replacing a right arm fast medium with an average of 35 woakes with a right arm fast medium averaging 41 wood get us more wickets.

We have weakened both the batting and bowling with two players compared to one. Needed up with broad at 8. 8.

I don't get it.
