No reviews left for Aus. First strike for England.

England got through the first spells of Starc and Hazelwood well and now starting to cash in. Pretty poor review again, Starc didn't think it was out from his appeal so why review?

Mmarsh does realise you're supposed to average 40 with the bat and 22 with the ball, not the other way around right?

Paine seemed to be pretty convinced.

Yeah he did but really if the bowler doesn't think an LBW is out that should be more important than the keeper. On that note I thought earlier (ironically after some byes) Paine has been impressive behind the stumps this series, was hoping before the series began that he'd be a bit of a liability but he's been very un-noticeable in a good way.

I'm not sure why Paine thought that LBW shout was out either he should have been able to see that Malan was setup leg side.

Well done to YJB.

Brilliant from Bairstow. Absolutely his best ton. How often do we get a chanceless 100. Forget his keeping. He is one of, if not the best, batsmen in the country.

Not too sure about that AJ. The bowler has to run off the pitch. The keeper should know the line of the ball. Other than the ump he's in the best position to judge.

England just need to hang in till lunch, not sure why Ali was playing at that great catch to get rid of Malan though.

Solid catching practice from moeen. Darn it. We need 450 here. Shame malan threw it away. We need to capitalise. Good catch from the sub fielder to be fair.

No way should Mo ever bat above Bairstow.

What is the point of playing Moeen Ali in test matches down under? His bowling is utterly ineffective on these pitches, and his batting is simply not good enough.

England looking like they're going to end up around par if someone doesn't stay with Bairstow and I don't have much hope of Broad or Jimmy surviving on a quick pitch like this so um it's down to you Craig.

That moeen shot doesn't get better does it. Just leave it ffs.

Come on craig. Oz back in a good position to ensure England's third innings capitulation.

Ffs. Now bairstow out.

Shambles since malan threw it away.

Good delivery from starc but for the rest of the innings he hits that through mid on.

Would be impressive to fail to get to 400 here. Just need a bowler injured to top this morning off nicely.

that was crap by overton as well. Woakes and overton are not necessarily there for batting but moeen is. Pretty unforgivable moeen even playing at it. That said did malan need to charge Lyon? Had we batted until lunch the Ozzie heads nights have gone down.

We need to bowl well now.

Donít need weather; the players are only too capable of ruining it themselves.

Have you forgotten all the discussions about how as wicket-keeper he should never bat above 7? Of course that would be with Stokes at 6.

Moeen is having a terrible tour. Not the only one though.
