If there is a case for picking an all-rounder (and these are damn useful players to have), and there is a test quality all-rounder available then that's a completely different argument but picking someone who is not test quality in either discipline is ridiculous.

Pick the best available four bowlers, and then decide whether to add an (or another) allrounder, bowler, or batsman.

Personally, I'd prefer to see Rashid over Ali, but the stupidity of not playing him in earlier tests this year makes that unlikely. As for an additional seamer...
