I will be. I intend to have a snooze when I get back from my Mum's tomorrow, then see how long I can make it through (I assume you mean roll call. I have no role in this affair other than Arch-Pessimist of Bedfordshire). Five years ago, I slipped on the stairs during the Perth test and sliced my knee open on the shelving at the bottom. It effectively ended my playing career. Coffee stocks are high.

I assume we have UDRS for this series. Who do you think is likely to use it better, Strauss or Ponting?

I don't know what to do. NPower are coming on Thursday morning to install a new boiler. I don't know whether to stay up all night for the cricket and then be zombiefied when they explain things or ask me where the gas supply switch is; or record it and have to suffer their interruptions as I try to watch it the next day. Or worse still, have them blurt out the score and spoil my fun.

The unthinkable has happened - my Sky digibox has packed in a little over 24 hours before the start of the series! If I can get hold of a fully functional digibox tomorrow does anyone know if it will work with my viewing card in it? Thanks in advance for your help.

No, but think of me every time England lose a wicket or Watson/Katich/Ponting hits a boundary.

Bloody hell Psyduck that's a pain. Have you checked the Sky website for info? If not can you watch it on Skyplaya (not ideal).

I'm going to hit the sack around 8, then get up around 4 or 5 to catch the end of the day and hopefully allow me to get through a day's work

Only about 25 hours to go. Am I the only person getting more nervous rather than excited?

Tell me about it!

I've spoken to Sky and they've told me that my viewing card will work in conjunction with any digibox. I can get one off a mate at work tomorrow so fingers crossed!

If that doesn't work I need to decide whether to fork out 65 for a new digibox or upgrade to Sky Plus HD for an additional 10.25 a month (even though I don't have an HD TV).

I'm very nervous that I might miss the entire test match at the moment Michelle!

Thanks Michelle. If not it's back to trusty old TMS, which is no bad thing I suppose.

Could be an excuse to buy that HD tv you've always wanted...

Hopefully your mate's one will work and you'll be here with us in glorious technicolour tomorrow evening.

As an aside what's the delay like between the pic and TMS? Thinking I might watch with the digital radio on if the delay isn't really obvious as the Sky team (especially that hack Atherton:drunk get on my nerves.
