The Golden Gun Awards 2017

So here we are again, calm down folks, I know you're excited. The year end awards are about to begin. Unlike the ICC, these awards are for a calendar year, so everything from January 1st to December 31st. Some of the winners do not require waiting for the 31st, so will be listed below. Judgement for "Match of the Year" will be reserved for later, as the remainder of the year ends.

Test Batsman of the Year
Steven Smith (Australia)
Runners up - Chiteshwar Pujara and Kane Williamson

Test Bowler of the Year
Nathan Lyon (Australia)

Runners up - James Anderson and Kagiso Rabada


Test Batting Performance of the Year - Steven Smith 109 at Pune v India

ODI Batsman of the Year
Virat Kohli (India)
Runners up - Babar Azam and Joe Root

ODI Bowler of the Year
Hasan Ali (Pakistan)
Runners up - Josh Hazlewood and Adil Rashid

Wrong Khan for young player of the year. That Rashid lad should be it for me. Class act. Cant wait to see him let loose in test matches.

The highest ranked ream he played against was WI lol

Plus Shadab can handle himself with the bat as well.
