You are being harsh on your bowlers. Shami and Kumar are pretty decent and Shami can bowl with decent pace. To be honest all of them have been bowling quicker than England's medium pacers (although I know that is a low bar!)

Actually SA's batsmen clearly can't play swing bowling so Australia's attack should wipe the floor with them. If the pitches are juicy, they will struggle to score highly. Today demonstrated again that AB aside, they are clueless against superb bowling.

Will be interesting to see if SA sans Steyn can challenge the Indian batsmen.

Terrific bowling from the Indians but if the conditions stay like this, it can be very difficult for India...but I'm calling it now, India to win.

Think even if India had their best top 7 this would be almost impossible but with Dhawan and Rohit in the top 5 itís pretty much impossible.

Really they should be able to do this. SA is one bowler short and it is Steyn no less.

Smith, Warner & Smarsh all have good records in SA.

SA could regret deKock's missed stumping of Pandya. The target could have been 250.

I just hope India look to finish it off today. I don't think having an extra day to think about what might happen would be good.

Vijay was pretty fortunate with his first review when the ball bounced over the stumps, but he was now incorrectly triggered when bat hit pad for a nick behind. India now 28-0. However it should be remembered that SA collapsed pretty drastically.

True, but Elgar has effectively cost them the match.

Still think Faf choosing to bat first was questionable. Holding couldn't believe it.

Still this loss will be a good reality check for them.

Also believe Australia will win pretty easily given the chink in SA's armour.

I know, and Iím also aware AUS havenít lost a series in SA since readmission. But itís hard to claim that AUS ability against swing is significantly better than SA.

I never said it was? Have all the wickets in SA suddenly turned into Trent Bridge or something?

Safer pitches have been tricky for years. This is what made kallis the greatest. He averaged ten more than any of his team mates in SA and was a very useful bowler.

I watched quite a bit of this Saturday am and SA forgot to bowl properly once down the order. Lost their heads completely.

30-2 as Kohli comes to the crease.

So in these conditions, who would you want coming in? Kohli, Smith or Root?

No brainer on this one, Root wins every time.

Mate, I never said you did. As you should be able to see from the reply thread, I was replying to Midnightís comment that AUS will wipe the floor with SA because SA canít play swing. No idea why youíre taking it up on yourself.

Smith or Root over Kohli is a no-brainer. Smith or Root equally capable.

Smith every time, but Root is brave and technically sound.

Still if India keeps calm, they are chasing a low total.

Absolute cracker from Morkel claims Pujara. That could be the decisive wicket so early in the piece.
