It's the kind of situation where nobody covers themselves in glory. The batsman was a bit hasty in picking the ball up so quickly when at one stage it looked like the ball was heading toward the stumps, the fielders shouldn't appeal and the umpires should be given more power to use their common sense.

England v Bangladesh

Bangladesh won the toss and are batting. If England lose they'll probably end up playing India in the Quarter Final.

Based on their performance against Australia I'd say India are the strongest team in the tournament.

As I said earlier, they seem to be playing a batsman light and if they lose a couple of wickets early they'd be in a lot of trouble.

Should be a formality vs Canada before an Ashes clash.

An impressive knock from Brooks, after England had lost 3 in the first ten overs. Seems the youth side follows the aggressive batting tactics of the seniors. Good to see.

What wasn't good to see was Brooks' bowling of the wrong foot, it gave me a headache in only 3 overs.

Good job it's an Aussie leg spinner, otherwise Jock would be demanding an immediate call up to the test side.

If he was Pakistani people would be questioning how old he was.

(Maybe I just saw a very unflattering photo)

Not sure what you mean he looks like he's a late teenager? I think you must have seen a strange photo.

It was a brilliant display by England on how not to play leg spin or chase a small total for that matter. Banton was picking and playing him well and then decides to play a reverse sweep which wasn't particularly cricket smart and pretty much finished England off as no-one else could pick him at all.

His hairline wasn't great in the picture I saw!

Looked like he bowled some cracking deliveries though, really sharp turn both ways (definitely did seem to be a pitch conducive to spin). Highlights I saw made Banton look monstrously good until he good himself out.

I saw that ginger guy and thought he was 40 years old.

Definitely need to check his age out.

I don't think he looks particularly old but he does look like a right little scroat.

India Australia final after the Indians annihilated their rivals Pakistan in the second semi.

England defeat the hosts to finish a dismal 7th.
