They were in it for the first part of the England innings when it looked as if they would restrict England to not very many. Then it all ran away from them.

Which has pretty much summed up every match so far. Only in Match 3 did the W Indies get within 40 runs, but that was never close either.

It's strange but the Rachel Hayhoe-Flint Trophy final on Sunday followed the same pattern. Perhaps batting first is the key.

To be perfectly frank, W Indies are simply NOT VERY GOOD.

And if I'm being brutally honest, I'm not entirely sure England are either in comparison to Australia. Only the new young spinners seem to be of a decent standard, there are no obvious seamers coming through to replace Brunt and Shrubsole, whilst the batting order never seems to have any different personnel.

Interesting to see what will happen if the Windies bat first but the forecast for tomorrow is dire.

Weather no too good at present. Not sure if we'll get any play which is a shame as it's been an enjoyable series and it would have been good to get a 5-0 series result.

5 over slog in the end. A bizarre but entertaining game.

Great series. England getting the 5-0 series win in the end.

England nearly threw it away with some crazy running between the wickets but the Windies helped them out by overstepping.

20 ODI wins in a row for the Australians. Meg Lanning the fastest player to 14 ODI tons, achieving it in 82 innings beating Amla's by 2.

Apparently, she averages 104 in chases against NZ. You'd think the Kiwis would opt to bowl first.

Lanning didn't even play today yet the Aussies handed out the mother of all thrashings to NZ. 325-5 v 93 all out.

Highest score at AB oval by a significant margin too. The Kiwi's have been mostly competitive this tour but the longer it goes on the more the superiority of the Australians wears them down. Haynes in particular has been incredible. Amelia Kerr the big bright spot for NZ. Amazing control for a 19 year old leggie who can really rip it both ways.

Interesting to see that the final of the Womens BBL will feature 4 English players. The big favourites will be Melbourne Stars for whom Sciver has been outstanding and Brunt ok, against the Sydney Thunder for whom Knight has been ok and Beaumont pretty poor.

Stars to just shade it. Meg Lanning WoTM. Still can't believe the Sixes couldn't even manage to make the semi's. Yikes.

It will be if they get Sciver.....and they do.

Stars as good as their men's equivalent in knockout matches.

Fantastic hat trick today by Amelia Kerr, 3 bowled , all with wrong-un's in the final of the N.Z. Domestic T20 Super smash for Wellington v Canterbury.

Despite her 3-19 off 4 overs and 31, she was on the losing side as Canterbury won by 4 Wkts with 2 balls to spare, a great 7th Wkt partnership unbeaten of 66 in 37 balls by Ebrahim ( 45 off 40), and Tahuhu, ( 38 off 20, including 3 sixes) getting them home.
It was the curtain raiser to the men's final, played at the Basin.

It was very exciting watching on you tube over breakfast.

I see that Billy Bowden is officiating in the 2nd Womens ODI between NZ & England.

I thought he retired years ago.

Brunt and Sciver in the wickets, I see. A good partnership!
