In case it comes up again the version of All 4 and BBC Iplayer is different on Sky to the internet version. It's often the case that the BBC Iplayer on Sky can lag behind the internet version by 24 hours or so - someone did explain to me why but I can't remember (or care!)

I just don't see why highlights of every match everywhere that is televised can't just be uploaded on YouTube for everyone in the world with an internet connection to be able to watch.
Financially they can't be that precious, especially once the day's play in question has been and gone, and there must be advertising revenue to be earned from being on YouTube. The T10 League in Abu Dhabi put 15 minute highlights (cue the jokes about isn't that the length of full match) of every match in the competition on its official YouTube channel, and many games got around 1 million hits. |

Fair play to Channel 4, one hour highlights on More4, I was expecting half an hour.

Didn't realise Sky also have the PSL which begins tomorrow. I seem to remember last season's tournament was only live on one of the Asian channels on the Sky box. Bit confusing with the start time as BBC showing a 2pm start but Sky coverage begins at 2.50pm.

Cheers for the heads up. Lions will have to go some to mess this up.

From an article in the February issue of The Cricketer:
Brian Mantle, chief executive of the Deutscher Cricket Bund, recalled when a few years back a Champions League game was unexpectedly moved from Eurosport 2 (a pay channel) to Eurosport (free-to-air in Germany) the viewership went up tenfold. "My phone was ringing off the hook and hundreds of e-mails were pinging into my inbox from people wanting to know about cricket." "...the cricket boards in Italy and Finland, to name just two, have had unprecedented conversations with domestic sponsors as a result of streaming figures in the hundreds of thousands." |

Wish this would at least be attempted. Anything that grows the game is good.
