Well it's not difficult to move Bairstow up to open and add Billings in at 6.

But it sounds like Roy keeps his place with the only possible changes coming in the bowlers. Moeen and Wood may both get a game.

Don't really understand the obsession with Buttler batting up top. Would rather him come in with around 6 overs to go or more, but I guess that's the way it goes. I agree though, that dropping Roy and brining in Bairstow up top would be right at this point.

Re SA, I would love to see Nortje, Rabada and Ngidi bowl together in a test match. That would be some pace attack. SA probably need at least 3 more test batsmen of decent quality to be that competitive again.

Certainty get rid of Roy. Thought it wasn't smart of the Saffers to get him out. They should have kept him in as he wasn't scoring. Hope they omit both Currans, certianly Tom.

what's happened to Banton by the way - has he been discarded as He would seem a potential successor to Roy. Similarly, Phil Salt at Sussex seems to have been on the fringes of selection without it ever happening. He could also fill the opening slot and scores quickly (good fielder as well)

Banton is reserve (for the ODI's too), Salt probably next cab off rank after him. Will be interesting to see how they get on in the Big Bash this year.

Historically he has done well but just not of late.

Might be a moot point if SA don't get a wiggle on, though its clearly a slowie.

Average is 160. That will take some getting from here unless Faf bats through.

And with T. Curran bowling more dross he might well do.
