Sam Curran completes his 4 overs, ending with 4-0-28-3.

Think this has been poor. Too many wides for starters, let alone pie chucking by T Curran.

Curran S and Rashid have been good. Curran T has been shocking ..... finishes with a wicket, too little too late though.

180 to get.

Just as it couldn’t get any worse for Tom Curran, a wicket with his last ball slightly mitigates the situation for him. But not much. Econ of 13.75.

Goochie.

I suggested a few posts back that I thought we were a spinner short on this pitch. The problem is that the reserve spinner is Ali, who has been mediocre for quite some time.

South Africa open with a pie chucker and Jason Roy gets out. Not really a huge surprise.

Poor start from England.

We'll still win.

Poor footwork from Roy.

Good deboo over from the Saffer lad - England could do with a second spinner.

Malan always takes his time. When he scores plenty it's OK but if he fails we've used up a lot of valuable time.

Pressure's huge on Jos.

Not convinced Roy is the best option up top in T20, it's too obvious he will struggle against a spinner bowling the first over.

So why not let Buttler face the first ball?

Malan hogging the strike does for Buttler.

But this fella doesn't even seem very good. Taking wickets with poor balls.

Rashid's 0-28 not looking so clever now.

Hmmm, Jos played a very bad shot, easy to blame the guy who has more runs....

England just look off their game today and SA don't.
