I was hoping to catch the first session. Typical.

He also went to Holder before the series and asked how they could support the team for racial awareness, as a result, the players took the knee before the start.

Only saw most of the first session which was a bit slow. Stream was a bit wobbly at times too. Good coverage though from Spark Sports who I gather are television test cricket for the first time.

Indeed, I reckon it can't cost that much to acquire the rights if they really wanted. I guess if Sky over here are annoyed Sky NZ got outbid they decided not to buy them out of spite.

Might be more to do with the fact there's probably not that much demand to watch it in the UK, especially when most of it is on when we're in bed. Even us die hards would probably only watch the first session at best.

How have New Zealand's pitches quietly become the flattest in the world? They're green, it rains a lot, there's always a breeze to assist the bowlers. So why is it a batting paradise?

Quite, even when I've tried to watch some of the tests in the past, the dull play usually sent me to sleep
