Nevermind the media.

Zak Crawley has been ruled out of first two Tests against India with a wrist sprain.*

Crawley, who was expected to bat at No. 3 in the England side, slipped outside the dressing room on Tuesday and, having fallen heavily on his right wrist, was unable to train on Wednesday.

A statement from the ECB on Thursday morning said, "Scan results have confirmed that Crawley has jarred his right wrist, which has sprained the joint and led to local inflammation.

Will Sky be running any studio programmes - discussions, etc?

It's noticeable in the schedules that the live coverage ends at 11.30am, when The Simpsons (S14 Ep6) takes over. Given the likely use of the extra half hour, play won't finish before 11.30am, so I think we can rule out too much post match analysis from Rishi and Alastair (probably a good thing).

D'oh. I should imagine they will skip a repeat of the Simpsons.

I don't think C4 viewers will mind if The Simpsons is cancelled for the cricket over running but I imagine there'll be a riot if they have to cancel Steph's Packed Lunch.

Which means Bess.
That would be Woakes (unless you've already got him in the side).

And Channel 4 donít appear to be doing highlights shows, although I just did a quick skim through the schedule so maybe I missed them.

I've heard they are being shown on their All 4 service.

We've looked on All 4 and can't find it. Just have to pick it up tomorrow.

I think it's only available on an app. Doesn't seem to be available via Sky.

I enjoyed the first day of Channel 4 coverage, including the fact that there didn’t seem to be any adverts for the first two hours or so ! Camerawork was excellent, as in Sri Lanka. Sir Alastair is a great addition, you wouldn’t guess he was in the later stages of his career - he looks and sounds like he’s just starting out ! Joe continues to lead the pack with a new determination, and Sibley supported him superbly. Over to you Mr. Stokes !

Managed to get them on a laptop. Pity the captions don't tell you who's on strike which on highlights you don't always know.

@C4Press
The first day of live coverage of India v England on @Channel4 attracted a peak audience of 1.1m (18.4% share) and 96k of 16-34 year olds. Just under a million people watched Joe Root reach 100 runs

They now tell you who's on strike. Apparently there is a type of lead which enables you to connect a laptop to a tv but we haven't got one.

I think you probably want a HDMI cable.

If you have Sky you may already have one. Unplug the cable that links your Skybox to the TV at the Skybox end and plug that into your computer.

Iíve read the last sentence several times and it still doesnít make sense. What you seem to be saying is unplug and replug the same two sockets?

I use an HDMI cable when I want to watch, say, a BBC iPlayer programme on TV rather than on my iPad. Connect the cable from the Sky box to the iPad. It doesnít work with Sky channels though. I can also use it to show photographs on a big screen. (How to bore visitors to death). (ďVisitors?Ē - what are they???).

Would it not be easier just to watch the highlights on the 4 app on the tv itself?

Can you not just get iPlayer through your Sky box? Or do you not have SkyQ?
