As I said yesterday, Broad is a cutter man and not a reverse swing man. We are probably asking Stokes and Stone to try to do that but Anderson is simply a genius for reverse swing. Not up there with Wasim and Waqar but so damned good nonetheless.

My Mumbai 2012 analogy doesn’t work when there isn’t spin in the same class as Swann and Panesar.

Since I have been watching the bowling has been average and the pitch isn't playing so many tricks.

Net result, England don't look like taking a wicket any time soon.

Perfect session for India. They batted very nicely. Going to be tough batting last! It is starting to look like it is easier to bat when the pitch is good early in tests.

Yes, its looking like a questionable tactic.

Yes Bess was lucky, but its not often a bowler that consistently takes wickets gets dropped.

Doesn't sent a great message, now we have Moeen horribly short of overs and going at nearly 5s.

This is why I wanted moeen to play instead of Lawrence and keep Bess.

Been quite a few near misses in the last few overs. This has the feeling of one wicket could bring a few.
