There may be something in it, but I don't believe it's more than a smokescreen to avoid too close an explanation for comings, goings, restings and droppings...............

Inspect the droppings and you may well find out what BS is..........!

If we adopt a selection policy of 4 changes per game that means Gary Ballance might get another go in the future.

This has been incredible batting from these two. I guess sometimes they just bat very well.

Bess very lucky then not to do a Simon jones injury when that one went through him.

Moeen has been bowling a few overs too long and for all the credit Root took for his captaincy last test, he has let things drift here.

Root should bring himself on. More often than not he breaks stubborn partnerships.

He does and almost took a wicket first ball.

Broad has looked pretty innocuous all day really. Moeen hasn't really offered any more threat than Bess (who might at least have got Rohit out with a dirty half tracker or something by now) and is leaking runs. Rohit has batted beautifully though.

I'd have expected Stokes to bowl more, perhaps there's an injury niggle. Stone and Leach have been absolutely fine.

So for some reason you are not happy with a bowler who has virtually identical figures as the best spin bowler for decades.

Moeen's bowling average in India is now 67.54 (64.90 pre match).

And as India know to their cost from the first test, you cannot carry two bowlers in a test match.

I think Ali learned his lesson going early on leach last match saying his career was ending. Maybe you should think about it?
