Rafiq went for a scan on his pulled hamstring yesterday ... sadly it confirmed that things aren't good.

This morning Rafiq tweeted that he'll be out for 2 months & is gutted about the news.

2011 just gets worse

Although things could have been far far worse ... both Rafiq & Lyth were trying to stop a straight 4 on the Kirkstall Lane End boundary ... at one stage it looked like they would collide ... then Rafiq made a dive .... Adam Lyth had to hurdle the advertising board to make sure he didn't collide with Rafiq ... at the time we were more worried about Lyth .. then we noticed poor Rafiq limping ... he soon went down, just off the pitch & was replaced by 12th man Joe Root. As the bowling was from 'our' end the physio had to wait until the end of the over before going to see what the problem was. The physio then had to assist Azeem as he limped off the ground

At Hampshire David Griffiths has also done a hammy. But David Balcombe is back in the wicket and the runs for the seconds...

Also at Hampshire Pothas has had his appendix out and Lumb fell over a ball in practice and damaged a ligament in his ankle.

Good news is that Carberry is playing SXI cricket.

James Fuller, our young Kiwi, is back fit after a couple of months out with a foot injury. Sadly, Liam Norwell has replaced him on the sidelines with a 'small stress fracture of the back'.
