Should have shown this match instead of those 2 serial losers from the Midlands.

Northants won the T20 Competition in 2013 and 2016 and were runners up in 2015. If they're serial losers what does that make the other teams?

They'd both lost 4 on the bounce this season. Suppose they decide the matches well in advance.

England not releasing Bairstow but releasing Buttler. Perhaps they're Lancashire supporters.

Livingstone scoring twice as fast as the Buttler. 40-0 off 3.

I wonder how often the 6th change bowler in a T20 match has taken a 5fer? Fuller for Middlesex v Hants tonight.

Well that's the best catch I've ever seen Root take, Livingstone looking like making a fantastic century as well.

Lancashire make 176/2 off 14, slowed down by Buttlers awful strike rate, far below his team mates.

Hilarious....Surrey post 250-6 at Canterbury, the joint third highest score in English T20 history and almost certainly a winning effort....and then it buckets down before Kent can start their reply so it's a 'no result'. When we say "Could really do with some rain" down here, we don't usually mean for this reason. Kent stay top of the South group.

Further evidence why you don’t put a filthy lower order slogger in before top quality international batsmen. Willey is 100% to blame for Yorkshire’s defeat with a scarcely credible 19 ball 20 chasing 176 off 14 overs. Lyth and Root were superb but Willey left them way too much to do.

as opposed to the non-catch of Livingstone?

Teams will always use their big hitters in those circumstances: Lilley & Clark for Lancs and Plunkett & Bresnan for Yorkshire.

Ian Bell 131 off 62 balls against Northants, his first T20 century.

Fair point. Patterson was equally to blame. On batting orders - Lancs didn’t leave top quality batsman in the shed (because they don’t have any). To give Williamson 2 balls to face was a horrible mistake.
