Big ooops for Ireland, might not be Test cricket but losing to any of these sides must be considered a bit embarrassing given they don't have Test status......

Surely they could have played each other twice given the format is so short, and considering they're playing on the same ground. They appear to already be fitting them in a la finals day in the domestic (English) T20, for the sake of an extra week it could have been much more exciting.

Been very little in any of the games, Holland getting home with a ball to spare, Ireland winning by 15 runs, Holland got their second win with 7 balls to spare in a match neither side lost more than 4 wickets in, and Scotland almost "coasted" to a win over the Irish with 9 balls to spare in one of the two more comfortable margins (balls and wickets)

HOL beat SCO by 7 wkts with 1 ball to spare
IRE beat OMN by 15 runs with Oman 9 wkts down
HOL beat OMN by 8 wkts with 7 balls to spare
SCO beat IRE by 6 wkts with 9 balls to spare

Ireland, Scotland and Holland have all put on 100 opening stands in the competition, the British sides in their head to head. That game also featured the two highest scores, 180/7 and 181/4 with Oman the only side in any innings not to reach 150 so all much of a muchness aka T20

Incredible finish in the Ireland vs NL game - 9 down 6 off the last ball to win by one run.

NL still ahead on NRR - but any win for Scotland vs Oman will see them top the table.

Scotland now playing a non-international one day series v Oman. First match victory for the Scots, overcoming Oman's 24 in 3.2 overs.

Should be pointed out that Scotland won the quadrangular. They were pretty unlucky to miss out on 50 over world cup qualification last year and of course beat England in the one off international. So their short form cricket appears to be in good order.

What was incredible about the Oman innings of 24 was it lasted 103 balls.

Hope the other games arenít as one sided - Oman werenít this mismatched in the ODI series.

Scotland continue to improve though - with home games versus Afghan and Lanka this summer.

Bizarre series. Oman bounced back to comfortably beat the beat the Scots in game 2, before Scotland won a close decider.
