The hotels are probably quite big.

And it's not as though you noticed the England players avoiding him. Broad was photographed out with KP on the last Ashes tour and I'm sure he wasn't the only one.

Proof then that everything was OK between Pietersen and his team mates.

![]() ![]() Classic bit of counter-trolling there. Broad might be the only person D/L has a lower opinion of than KP!

Promising signs from Finn, bowling Middlesex to victory.

Got 6-107 the match. Would be good to hear from anyone there to see whether he got his pace up. Robson didn't have such a great game though.

I think Tredwell had a brief stint as an opener or number 3 batsman and did a decent job from what I remember. He has a few first class hundreds. The weirdest one was Chris Jordan was being employed as an opener for Surrey for a while. Now that was bonkers.

I had forgotten that. Haha. They have made some odd calls over the years.

Excellent match figures for Mark Wood in Durham's victory over Notts (7-73) and a career best 66 as night watchman. I wonder if they'll take a look at him against the Kiwis in place of Chris Jordan.

Wood's a great pick, although it must be acknowledged that he always performs against Notts so this isn't proof of anything!

Rashid's also got good match figure (6-106). It does make you wonder what might have been had we a more adventurous captain.

Alex Hales 86 not out off 43 balls in the T20 Blast against Birmingham Bears. He hit 6 sixes in a row at one point and 7 in 8 balls. Sadly, not from the right sort of family.

How on earth did we end up watching those atrocious World cup innings' of Bell & Balance with Alex Hales sitting in the stands.
Just a complete ****ing mystery & disgrace. |

Ballance was dropped - finally - and replaced with Hales who batted better than Ballance who only averaged 9 but not as good as Bell who averaged 52. In fact in the final game Hales was dropped in the slips twice and then got out while Bell got his chanceless 50 odd not out. When Hales finally gets a good ODI innings we will all cheer. In the tri-Series Bell got 141 against Australia one of his best innings. When Hales can do that he will have christened his place in the side.

Alex Hales' treatment by the England selectors with regards to the 50 over game has been a disgrace.
Stick him in there as opener, and give him 12 months worth of cricket before you even think about making an evaluation of how he's done. None of this hokey-cokey ******** they've put Hales through up to this point.
