Given the opposition do India's scores in this series signify anything?

Yes, it signifies that SL bowling is mediocre at best.

After the very promising 3-0 victory against Australia last year, this series has been an exposure of just how bad Sri Lanka is. The Indians have been very good and pretty ruthless in familiar conditions but the near total lack of resistance to them with either bat or ball has been painful. Herath must be soon to retire too and Mathews appears a shadow of the batsman he once was.

A win, 3-0, with 2 wins by over an innings definitely means India has been rather ruthless. It also means we aren't really tested before the team goes out of subcontinent.

Sri Lankan cricket board is so angry that they are considering sending Sri Lanka to tour Pakistan. I really feel thats bit too harsh. Even a 3-0 whitewash doesn't deserve a death sentence.

Ouch, I shouldn't laugh but that made me chuckle

Clean sweep by India across formats. This is a pretty weak Lankan team, and these are familiar and friendly conditions for India, but still hell of an effort to win every game on tour.

Probably trying to protect his own position, but Sri Lankan Coach Nic Pothas has compared this Indian team to the All Blacks (see some cricinfo article if you're willing to wait 5 mins for the page to download).

Yeah right Nic, keep smoking the whacky stuff.
