2nd Test, England v WI at Headingley 25th-29th August

No thread yet for the game which starts tomorrow perhaps we are all watching the TMS game...

One change for England with Woakes replacing Toby Roland-Jones so no rest yet for Anderson and Broad.

Will England win another toss and bat first again? Can the WI put in a better performance?

Wonder what kind of surface it will be on, usually swings at Headingly.

Never thought I'd say this but we need a good chief executives pitch to see the match last longer than 3 days.

It's not the pitch we need to last longer than 3 days it's the opposition.

I hope the West Indies manage to get Gabriel and Bishoo into the team this time.

Headingly usually swings a lot when it's cloudy and is good for batting when it isn't. They say that when you win the toss there look up not down.

Bit harsh on TRJ to be dropped for Woakes.

Indeed, he might get the full ODI series to make up for it I guess. England win the toss, I'm predicting 100 for Stoneman.

Got your wish. Hopefully both will improve the Windies.

Not sure we bat deep enough...

Good to see Gabriel back in. Let's hope he's fit enough to ramp it above 90mph and give our boys a bit of a test.

England win the toss yet again. I hope Root's luck with this continues in Australia.

It is, but I'm glad to see Woakes back. This is our first choice attack

Wayward first over but the pace was there. Think the toss probably decided this game already but I'm expecting a bit more resistance this time with these two bowlers back in. Hard to see how they could get much worse, anyway.
