Not in my book, I'll remember him as a top player and great bloke.

Thank you for the evasive quip, but when I start calling people terms like "douche" on internet sports forums, revision might be required and your advice will be more welcomed.

It's free too. But you'll probably still be using "sissy" for a long time.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Nathan Hauritz retires from all forms of competitive cricket.

A good solid spinner, reasonable tail ender and great competitor. Seemed like a decent enough bloke, but he is/was both an Aussie and a bowler so who knows . Averaged 25 with the bat, 66 wickets @ 35 with the ball over 17 test matches. Discarded a little early/unfairly at the time IMO (surely the preferred selections of players like Beer and Doherty in the 2010 ashes was the result of temporary insanity).

Watson to retire completely from international cricket after the WT20. The last Aussie player to debut prior to 2007.

Rob Key has retired with immediate effect. Hadn't seen it posted anywhere yet.

That's a shame. I've followed his career from the very start and have always enjoyed watching him bat and looking grumpy at mid-off. There had been signs this year, with him absent from the team photos and just about every promotional mailout. Pretty sure he'll be all over Sky this season.
