Is the hair-raiser an overseas player or another Kolpak? I also see that Steve Crook the Lancs reject has taken a couple of wickets and is scoring some runs for you.

Cracking day in the sun. Some quality bowling first up from Johan then some superb batting from Chris Rogers and Stephen Peters.

Good performance from everyone today bar A. Crook who got a third ball duck...hopefully Wessels will go on tomorrow and get a decent score.

RE: VDW I think he is going to take a fair few wickets this season and could also provide some decent lower order runs.

Thats what happens when you sign a Lancs reject, he is truly god damn awful, however Steve Crook is a lot better.

If they're not good enough for Lancs they sure as hell won't be good enough for us.

Comfortable win, good to see Graeme White getting wickets and bowling tight.

I would imagine so but I expect with Panesar being out on England duty for most of the summer then they'll all get games, althought I'm not entirely sure how many games White will get.
