Nice to see Coverdale get a wicket after Wigley dropped a sitter off his bowling yesterday

Ned has certainly had his share of ups and downs in life and in cricket.

3pm today. It's been and gone. He didn't say anything very exciting.

I'm a bit hopeful- it seems the pitch has been getting easier during the Middx innings.

They were saying the pitch had got easier but the best we can hope for is a draw

There's still a chance of a draw here. I think Middlesex might have batted on too long- there's no chance of Northats making >400 in the last innings.

Lets hope Johan gets over his Chest Infection/Virus quickly. He felt fine up until he started bowling.

I thought it was very harsh to drop Rob White for O'Brien.

Just seen (on the new-look website) that Davey Jacobs has been signed to fill in the gap while Rogers is injured. This is what cricinfo has to say- he's got a first class average of 41. Am I right in thinking averages tend to be lower in SA than in the county championship?

He's playing in the current match instead of Wessels. Interesting to see that he's listed as being a keeper, but I don't know if he's serious or just a part timer. Will we see Northants fielding a 3-keeper side?

he doesn't keep from what i remember since Van Wyk does that job, i'm not sure about him the last year or so he hasn't really kicked on how we would have liked.
