Chris Rogers is back for tomorrow's Leics game. Rikki Wessels is in the team too, while they've named three spinners in the squad- presumably they'll go for Brown and Graeme White, and have Dawson as 12th man again. Lucas in the squad instead of Wigley.

Great to have Chris Rogers back we have really missed him and its about time Rikki got his place back. He should never have been dropped in the first place.

There's an article on Cricinfo about Alex Wakely.

The immediate target is to break into the Northants first team. I'm giving county cricket a real go after my A-levels.

Id love to see him do well in the game not just because he is at Northants but he is actually born in England (not that that seems to matter anymore)

Great innings by Usman Afzaal yesterday - 32 off one Caddick over (466646) and all proper cricket shots. Does he usually open in Twenty20? We were all a bit surprised to see him open with Klusener but he soon made us look foolish.

The batting yesterday seemed to be getting into practice for the championship. A nice little collapse in the middle, and Sales got nearly half of the runs. Normal service resumed.

I thought id pop up to ground for a few hours in the blistering sun. I witnessed one of the worst claimed catches that I have ever seen. Rogers top edged the ball all the way the the boundary for 6 only for the fielder who was clearly over the rope to catch it and then had the cheek to claim the catch.

He was that far over the rope I fail to see how he wouldn't have known. The members were disgusted.

Was that Banerjee? He took wickets against us in the away match as well.
Bloody cheek.

Alex Wakely in the team against Somerset. Looks like he's going to be batting soon- the usual dodgy Taunton pitch is running through our top order...

I get the feeling Somerset are going to get about 800, just to rub it in.
