We lost Rogers when he injured himself, he hasn't scored many runs since then, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't turn things around.

Excellent. I reckon he'll play, we don't have much to play for anymore. We might be able to scrape 3rd with a good finish, but 5th is more realistic.

Northants have signed Nicky Boje as an overseas replacement for Johann van der Wath who is in the twenty20 squad for South Africa. Seems an interesting choice especially since they will have the services of Monty for the last couple of games of the season.

I guess we'll have to wait until Daz gets back from Wantage Road to give his verdict.

They obviously don't have much faith in Brown or White. Can't see much point in it, as there's little chance of Northants getting promotion
