I was wondering which 6 Gloucs players had won it, turns out it was 5 overseas, hmm...

Agree that it should be Lyth FWIW.

I don't like using Wikipedia as a reference as I consider it unreliable, but this appears to be the full list:

Sign of how the domestic and international games have changed. Prior to this century, only 13 English winners and overseas victors included some of the greats of the game. Since 2000, there have only been four overseas winners, two who were Kolpaks, and no active international overseas cricketer since either Simmons in 96/Lara in 94.*

*not sure of the span of Big Phil Simmons international career.

We should've known from the start really
http://www.cricket247.org/community/...13&postcount=1

In other award related news- Luke Wright has won the CMJ Spirit of Cricket award for informing the umpires that a boundary catch he took was actually a six. Also, 15yo Amy Freeman kept on playing for her u15 side in Banbury to make sure they could field a side each week, despite having serious injuries to both her knees

Some of his posts about a certain Tennis player were borderline slanderous though.
