Are the games on the tellybox anywhere? They are not in Sky's live cricket schedule.

As we now have an actual countdown to the season thread, here are forum members' plans for 2017 so far as previously posted on the countdown to the announcement thread:

Hector is "going for a more elemental, ethereal experience with proposed trips to Falkland (watched a minor counties game there last year) between the Unicorns and Middlesex, a trip to the IOW for Hampshire 2nds, Basingstoke, Radlett and the annual trip to Arundel for the Seconds T20 Finals Day which is a most enjoyable day out." Plus "plans sorted for a trip to The Parks on April 3rd!"

Arthur Figgis has "a couple of Minor Counties trips planned- Northumberland v Suffolk at South Northumberland CC, and Cumberland v Northumberland v Furness CC."

gmdf says "Kent's season starts on 28th March with a University game, and finishes (weather & state of game permitting) exactly 6 months later on 28th September with day 4 of the game vs. Glamorgan. I hope to be at both days!"

And I plan to be in action from March 28th to 30th with a combination of days from Cambridge MCCU v Lancashire at Fenner's and Kent v Leeds/Bradford MCCU at Canterbury.

As ever, I'll be waiting for the start of the CC programme. Kent, Essex and Surrey all open with home games, 7th to 10th April. That first weekend has become something of a beacon of inspiration to me. The spirit is as willing as it's ever been, just gotta ensure the flesh is sufficiently robust.

I shall also be attending some minor counties cricket at Falkland (2 trips there this year), South Wilts CC in Salisbury and the beautiful Challow Childrey.

Been agonising over who to support - should it be The North, or how about The South? Brought up in the North but done most of my cricket watching in recent years in the South.

However, I think the presence of three Northamptonshire players (is that really in the North?) gives them a bit of a gutsy underdog look.

COME ON THE NORTH!

Can I buy replica shirts anywhere?

Need to get used to these sort of tough decisions when the City T20 arrives.

It seems that nowhere north of London comes up as 'South' which suits the geographical disposition of many of us from south of Watford! I guess Steve Finn is on dodgy ground........

Just noticed that Notts do not play in that London all season (apart from the Lord's final, obviously) and not in the South at all until the final match on September 25th.

Kent have no guaranteed matches against Yorkshire, Lancashire and Warwickshire.

More 21st Century nonsense.

What is the maximum amount of times two counties can play each other across all formats this season? Will be interesting to see how many teams don't play each other at all. Could be quite a few.

Looking at the confirmed fixtures so far, Notts will play either Derby or Leicester on the following dates;

April 7-10 Leics
May 2 Derbys
May 7 Leics
Jun 2-5 Derbys
Jun 19-22 Leics
Jul 21 Derbys
Aug 2 Leics
Aug 4 Derbys
Aug 6-9 Derbys
Aug 18 Leics

No games against Middlesex, Essex, Surrey, Hampshire or Somerset unless they play in the knock out stages.
